Light.art joins forces with MeLlamo Art Foundation!

An important announcement from Light.Art
It is my pleasure to announce that Light.art has joined forces with the Me Llamo Art Foundation. The combined entity strengthens our team, and puts us in a great position to continue our mission of supporting artists and collectors. In a new new non-profit arrangement, Light.art remains the web3 community and curatorial brand, while MeLlamo Art Foundation is the umbrella financial entity focusing on fundraising and support for the art community at large.
If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together.
With the tie up we not only have a larger team, but also more artists, more collectors, more followers and more resources to support our initiatives. The two teams had a lot in common and were aligned as positive forces in the web3 space, but importantly they also compliment each other. Light.art brings strong curation, NFT collections and partnerships to the table while MeLlamo Art has deep expertise in IRL events, grass-roots community and education. Together we can do a lot more.
Strategic Priorities
We spent the last few weeks building our strategy and recomposing the team. We will focus our operations into four pillars: Community, Fundraising, Knowledge, and Curation. Each of these will have a lead, a core team of volunteers, and a network of interested contributors. We currently have leads for all pillars except the curation pillar which should be filled soon. If you are interested in volunteering in any capacity or level of commitment please reach out. We will also post opportunities there from time to time.
It goes without saying that the collector and artist experience will only strengthen from here and we will continue to bring highly curated art into the blockchain, and innovating in web3. Excited for this next phase!
