About the artist
Born and based out of Stockholm, Sweden. Known for his dramatic and capturing seascape images underwater of historical wrecks, deep caves & the underwater world. With multiple wins and awards in major photo competitions and prestigious magazine’s his images has been seen worldwide for over 2 decades. Among publications in National Geographic, Podcasts, Music videos nominated in the Emmy awards, and commercials for brands like H&M & Sony and he is also a Nikon Z brand Ambassador. With his eye for detail and minimalistic style, he captures these images thanks to great photography & diving skills (Full Tri-Mix CCR Full cave DPV diver) the places he takes these images are highly rare to be visited by anyone. In 2010 he was part of the group that fund the worlds oldest Champagne inside a wreck at 50m depth in the Baltic Sea. The dives resulted in recovering over 170 of the world's oldest champagne bottles, 80 of them are still in mint condition from 4 well-known champagne houses dating back to the early 18-century. These champagnes can sometimes be bought at auction houses like Christie's and Sotheby’s. Alex says: — I always try to create a “I wish I was there feeling” for my audience.
