We don’t see curators as gatekeepers, but rather as guides for our community among the sea of content and optimized algorithms. We believe curation must be objective, fair, transparent and human.

One of the exciting things about NFT technology, is that it empowers anyone to publish art - not only to be enjoyed, but also to be purchased and collected. While social media platforms opened up content creation to everyone, web3 is levelling the playing-field for content commercialization. As a result, the historic gatekeepers are in for a disruption.
Our curation is a guide for our community.

We see curation is a way to create a focus point for like-minded people to come together around the art they enjoy. Thus, we at Light are extremely communicative about what works for our platform and community. We keep an ongoing roster of individuals from different walks of life in our curation board - artists, collectors, galleries, and technologies. We don’t see them as gatekeepers, bur rather as guides for our community among the sea of content and optimized algorithms. We believe curation must be objective, fair, transparent and human. We will always welcome feedback on our roster, process and principles.
